Masking is still required in Regency Park Family Practice. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Our walk-in clinic is now available by pre-scheduled appointment only. This is a change resulting from the pandemic. We will continue offering this option to our community. Please call 902-407-6100 to book an appointment.

Please note, should you not attend a scheduled appointment with a Duty doctor and do not provide 24 hours notice of cancellation, you may be charged for the visit and/or may not be permitted to schedule appointments with our Duty doctor in the future.

There are currently no closures affecting our clinic.

If you have a medical concern after-hours, please call 811 to speak with a registered nurse. If you have a medical emergency, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency department.

Dear Patients,

It is with regret that I am writing to inform you that I will be leaving Regency Park Family Practice effective April 9, 2023.
I am aware that for many this will come with some level of shock and stress. Please know that I have not made this decision lightly. I will be available for appointments until my departure. Efforts are being made by the clinic to recruit a new Family Physician to take my place.
Regency Park Family Practice has excellent duty clinic staff, and also offers specialized Well Baby clinics for patients without family doctors. In addition, there are Well Women’s clinics and Prenatal care that provides access to our entire community. I would encourage patients to use these services. This keeps your chart central and consistent until my position is filled or you have found care with another provider. We will notify patients by way of posted notice, message on our answering machine and on our website when my position has been filled.
Please also remember you can call 811 to both, add your name to the wait list for a family medical provider and also at any time to speak with a registered nurse regarding urgent health concerns.
It has been my privilege to provide your care and I do regret any inconvenience that my leaving should cause.
Stay Healthy! Stay Safe!
Sincerely yours,

Dr. Orane Richards MD
