We no longer offer Walk-in, however, we do offer a Duty Clinic. We do maintain limited openings for general public access. The Duty Clinic requires appointments to be booked in advance of your arrival to the clinic.
The majority of appointments are available to our rostered patients within the practice for more urgent issues that arise. This service assists when an appointment with your regular family doctor is not readily available.
Examples of visits we might see in our duty clinic include: UTI’s and other possible infections, sore throats or sore ears, tick bites, routine medication refills (narcotics are not prescribed). The Duty Clinic cannot provide emergency level services nor can we follow your care on a regular basis like a family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner would do.

Join our team!! We are an interdisciplinary, collaborative practice with central locations in both Halifax and Dartmouth. We are currently seeking Full time and Part time family physicians to add to our team of medical providers that are inclusive of physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners and family practice nurses. Fully furnished and equipped exam rooms await your arrival.
We offer a welcoming and relaxed environment where we are all there to support each other and provide that hallway consult chat when needed. We share our skillsets; we share our knowledge. We collaborate during office hours and destress outside office hours with occasional fun social events. Halloween haunted corn maze anyone?!
We provide superior, comprehensive administrative support. If you are new to practicing in Nova Scotia, we provide our own in house orientation. We cover everything from where you find the supplies, accessing additional training including continuing education credits for licensing, along with practice guidelines from the College of Physicians and Surgeons among other topics. We also assist with many community resources for both your practice and establishing a new life here in Nova Scotia. We are here to help answer all of your questions.
Our practice provides primary family medicine, innovative community access clinics and specialist services. In house, we offer Prenatal, Well Women’s, Minor Procedure, Psychiatry, Counselling, Cardiology, ECG’s, and Addiction medicine.
We operate with the use of the MedAccess EMR system. Training will be provided if you are not familiar. Scheduling, billing and all other admin support is provided by a comprehensive team of full time and part time staff including a Clinic Manager and Clinic Director.
